• Strategic Acquisitions.  Tesla Laboratories has acquired two small Cyber Security / Intelligence Analysis companies providing services to the IC and the Internal Revenue Service. The first company was Dowless and Associates which was acquired June 2016 and provides high-end Cyber security and Analysis services across the IC.  The second was Compumatics Group which was acquired May 2017 and provides Cyber services to the IC and IRS.  These acquisitions are part of a larger strategy to grow Tesla through both organic business development and strategic acquisitions that provide access to new markets and customers.

• Solar Energy Companies.  Tesla has spun off two solar companies, Energy Matters LLC and Solar Power Ventures LLC, that build-own-operate solar plants for the DoD and other State and municipal government customers.  Originally formed to pursue the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Solar Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), they have expanded their footprints to include projects such as the PA National Guard 4.3 MW solar project in Fort Indiantown Gap and 5.5 MW solar project for Saint Mary's County Maryland.

• Business Development Approach.  Tesla has assembled a very robust business development team that can both lead and support proposal efforts of any size.  Our overall approach has two parts.  The first is focused to on partnering with leading companies in the IC and DoD and being the best small business subcontractor - we will help develop the proposal.  The second part seeks to be the prime contractor on selected opportunities within the IC, DoD and other federal agencies. Our overall philosophy is that we will not let the fear of loosing a proposal limit our thinking.  Everything we do makes us stronger.
